Jeremy Kamal is a multidisciplinary artist working with 3D animation, video games, and sound. Drawing from his background in landscape architecture and worldbuilding, his practice constructs digital environments that propose new symbiotic relationships between ecology, technology, and culture.

Through his speculative transmedia universe, Mojo, Kamal develops interconnected ecologies and landscapes shaped by Black cultural practices. Rendered through a lens of mythic science fiction, these environments examine how cultural identities, meanings, and myths shape—and are reshaped by—technological and ecological systems. Kamal treats the digital realm as a space for creating new geomyths that recontextualize overlooked values and reimagine how environmental futures are represented.

His work has appeared internationally at Highland Arts in Singapore, Lentos Museum of Art in Austria, the 18th Venice Architecture Biennale, and others. He is recipient of the Prix Ars Electronica 24’ Award of Distinction for New Animation and winner of the 2025 Black Public Media PitchBLACK Immersive Award.
